First Paddle
You have never played, or you have played a handful of times in a driveway or a park.
Every player starts somewhere. This is the route from your first time holding a paddle to competing in rated tournament play.
Find where you are today, and you will know exactly what to book next.
You have never played, or you have played a handful of times in a driveway or a park.
You can play a full game, but shots are inconsistent and positioning still feels uncertain.
The basics are there. Now you are working on the shots that decide games.
You are a solid rec player. The gap now is strategy, shot selection, and consistency when it matters.
You compete. You are chasing a number, a medal, or both.
DUPR is the universal rating system in pickleball: one number, from 2.0 to 8.0, that reflects how you actually play. It is how leagues seed, how tournaments bracket, and how you find opponents at your level instead of guessing. If you have never been rated, this session is where you start.
A coached on-court assessment run by a certified DUPR Coach. It is not a test you pass or fail. It is a baseline check-in that tells you where your game genuinely sits today, and what to work on next.
New players who want an accurate starting rating before entering competitive play, and anyone who has been playing a while but has never been formally rated.
We talk through your experience, what you have been working on, and what you want out of the game before you step on court.
Live play observed by a certified DUPR Coach, with coaching as you go. You get real feedback in the moment, not just a score at the end.
You leave with a rating entered into the DUPR system, so you can enter rated leagues, tournaments, and level-based open play right away.
Which clinics and sessions actually fit your level, so you are not guessing where you belong on the schedule.
Most clubs treat beginners as an afterthought: one intro class, then good luck. We run a free 101 every Saturday, instructor-led guided play for people past the basics, and morning open play sessions where new players are genuinely welcome.
No membership, no equipment, no experience. Paddles provided. Adults and juniors welcome in the same session.
The step most clubs skip: instructor-led play for people who know the rules but are not ready for open play yet.
Breakfast Ball from 6 AM Monday to Saturday, and open play through the day. Level-based courts mean you play people your speed.
